Our Core Privacy Principle: Your Financial Data is Yours

My Dividends is designed with your privacy as its highest priority. Your sensitive financial information never leaves your device.

• Local Data Storage: All portfolios, transaction histories, holdings, and custom settings you create are stored exclusively and locally on your device.
• No User Accounts: The App does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not have servers that store or process your personal portfolio data.
• Public Market Data: The App fetches public market data (like stock prices and dividend announcements) from third-party APIs. We do not send your portfolio composition to these services.

We do not collect, transmit, store, or have any access to your portfolios, transaction logs, or investment performance.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, process, or store any of your personal financial information from the App, including but not limited to:

• The names or number of portfolios you create.
• Tickers, quantities, or prices of stocks you buy or sell.
• Your calculated portfolio value, dividend income, or performance metrics.
• Any personal identifying information about you.

2. Third-Party Services

To provide its features, the App utilizes a few essential third-party services. We have chosen them carefully to respect your privacy.

• Apple App Store: Your use of the App Store to download the App and manage subscriptions is governed by Apple's own Terms and Privacy Policies. We do not receive your personal App Store account or payment information.

3. Data Security

The security of your financial data within the App depends on the security measures you use on your own device (e.g., passcode, Face ID/Touch ID). You are responsible for securing your device to protect your locally stored information.

4. Required Subscription

Access to certain premium features within the App requires a paid subscription, managed entirely through your Apple App Store account on the following terms:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off in your account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or turn off auto-renewal by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. Children's Privacy

The core design of our App is that no personal data is collected by us. All user-entered data is stored locally. Therefore, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on our App Store listing and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
