Our Core Privacy Principle: Your Data Stays On Your Device

The NoteCalc App is designed with complete user privacy as our foundation. All notes, calculations, and data you create within the App are stored exclusively and locally on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, store, access, or have any visibility into your notes or calculations.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, process, or store any of the following information entered or generated by you within the App:

• Notes, text, or content you create
• Calculations you perform
• Formulas or mathematical expressions you enter
• Any personal information, financial data, or sensitive information you may include in your notes
• Usage patterns, frequency of use, or specific features accessed

2. Local Storage Only

All information you input and manage within the NoteCalc App remains entirely on your device and under your control. We, the developers, have no access to this information. Deleting the App will generally remove this locally stored data from your device (subject to standard device OS behavior).

3. No Network Connectivity Required

The App functions entirely offline and does not require internet connectivity to operate. No data is transmitted from your device to our servers or any third parties. The App does not contain any analytics, tracking, or data collection mechanisms.

4. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions solely for its intended functionality:

• Local Storage Access: Required to save your notes and calculations on your device.

No other device resources or personal information are accessed.

5. Data Security

The security of the information stored locally within the App relies on the security measures you employ on your device (e.g., passcode, Face ID/Touch ID). You are responsible for securing your device to protect your locally stored data.

6. Third-Party Services (Apple App Store)

Your use of the Apple App Store to download the App and manage subscriptions is governed by Apple's own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your personal App Store account information, except for anonymous validation tokens from Apple solely to confirm active subscription status.

7. Subscription Requirement

Access to and use of the App's features may require a paid subscription, managed entirely through the Apple App Store based on the following terms:

• Monthly and lifetime subscription options are available.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or after the free trial period ends, if applicable).
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off in your Apple Account Settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Subscriptions may be managed by you (the user) and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

8. Children's Privacy

This App is rated 4+ on the App Store. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. Regardless of user age, the core design principle of this App is that no personal data is collected by us. All user-entered data is stored locally on the user's device. Therefore, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on the App Store listing and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Please review this policy periodically.
